"Organics Demystified" Radio Show Debut
May 17 2010
Please join us as we embark on an exciting new outreach project: our new radio show, Organics Demystified: What Consumers Need to Know about Organics!
As the public has become more aware of sustainability issues, the topic of food has become more and more prevalent. Organics Demystified will help consumers to understand the truth about organic agriculture and unravel the tangle of urban myths from the realities of the small certified organic farmer. Each week will focus on one area of discussion with frequent interviews from experts, as well as anecdotes straight from the small organic farm owners’ mouths--us!
You can submit your questions from as broad a range as possible: from tips for the backyard gardener, to resources for farming operations to help with the process of transition to organic production, and answers to questions about specific rules and regulations of the National Organic Program. If you eat, or know anyone who does, you should know more about how sustainable food is produced.
Starting May 26, please join us every Wednesday at 2:00PM Eastern Time on The Green Talk Network!

April 21 2010
We are teaming up with our friends at Dutch Creek Farm to bring Louisville's best breakfast back to the St. Matthews Farmers Market! We had so many requests to return to cooking that we couldn't resist. Starting May 15, Sandee and the gang will be cooking omelets, french toast, sausage biscuits, bird in a basket, and more, all using the foods we produce as the main ingredients.
